Joint AKA Rho Pi Omega and Eta Eta Chapter Meeting | Oct 5, 2024

Hi there Rho Pi Omega, 

Please join us for our joint chapter meeting  with our undergraduate chapter Eta Eta ,located on the campus of the University of New Orleans where the Graduate Advisor is Soror Amanda Vaughn rpogradadvisor@gmail.com.

A sponsoring graduate chapter  shall meet with the undergraduate chapter. There shall be at least 2 joint meetings of the chapter. The main purpose shall be social in order to increase fellowship and better understanding. Only business of joint interest , such as programs of civic and social importance my be discussed and voted on . Such meetings shall be presided over alternatively by the Basileus of each chapter and attended by active members of the chapters (AKA C&B Article 3 Sect.19).  A joint meeting of Rho Pi Omega chapter and Eta Eta chapter of UNO shall be held in September and February or as soon thereafter as possible(AKA RPO Bylaws Article 11 Sec. 7).

The attire is Business !  Be sure to  respond with your attendance (RSVP or Not Attending) so we know your plans for the upcoming meeting and Hospitality has a headcount for refreshments. Check-In at meeting is based on your RSVP.

We ask that if you know of any soror who wishes to visit our chapter meeting that you please: 

1. Notify the Chapter Basileus, Soror Amonie Johnson at rpopresident@gmail.com and cc the Membership Committee Chairman Soror Meredith Lemieux-West at rpomembership@gmail.com and Sergeant-At Arms Soror Kenya Jack rposergeantatarms1@gmail.com .
2. Include them as your guest when you register to attend the chapter meeting. 

The chapter basileus will email all visiting sorors to extend an invitation to the chapter meeting. Make sure to bring with you to meeting your sorority documents, chapter bylaws and all reports that were provided for this month's meeting.  Can't wait to see you for our monthly chapter meeting! 

Officers and Committee Chairmen are asked request time on the agenda for the upcoming meeting via email to the basileus no later than the Tues prior our scheduled chapter meeting. Additionally your are asked upload your report to the report section of the chapter website for the chapter's review prior to the meeting.  

Our Meeting will be held at Touro Woldenburg Village located at 3701 Behrman Pl, New Orleans, LA 70114 in their Chapel.  Officers and those sorors responsible for setting up the room are asked to arrive by 11:15 am. Chapter Members and Visitors are asked to arrive by 12:08 pm so we can begin promptly at 12:15 pm.
