President's Message

Welcome to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Rho Pi Omega Chapter's website! Please take the opportunity to peruse our website and social media platforms to learn more about RPO and our great impact in the West Bank community. The members of Rho Pi Omega are excited to be of service to you providing Service to All Mankind to address the needs of the community.

Rho Pi Omega is now in its thirty-seventh year of building a legacy of sisterhood, service, and excellence in the New Orleans community. The foundation for this legacy comes from a strong sense of purpose and resiliency. In 2025, we will reintroduce the community to Rho Pi Omega, and continue to reclaim our legacy of extraordinary excellence.
We are the #RadiantRPO because we radiate light energy into the community. Our individual strengths, which are our individual rays of light, are #strongertogether. #WeareRPO!

Our programs

The programming theme for 2022-2026 is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood. These initiatives are designed to make a great impact on the communities we serve. We will work collaboratively to maximize our outreach on progressive endeavors and consistently produce leaders who will advance our credo of service. The six program initiatives of service are the following: Strengthen our Sisterhood, Build our Economic Wealth, Empower our Families, Advocate for Social Justice, Enhance our Environment, and Uplift our Local Community. Please feel free to visit us at any upcoming event!
